Custom Pet Portraits

In addition to the small floral and landscape paintings you've seen on this site, I also enjoy painting portraits of people's pets. You provide a photo of your family pet, and I'll capture their spirit in a painting.

Above are some examples of original watercolor and gouache pet portrait paintings that I created from the pet owner's photos. I am partial to pups and cats, but I'm willing to attempt any type of pet: dog, cat, horse, bird, bunny, etc. - I have even painted a hamster :)

I use only artist grade materials. The finished piece will be unframed so that you can choose a mat and frame that best suits your surroundings.

Pricing for a one figure, unframed and unmatted, watercolor or gouache painting on 140 lb. acid free watercolor paper is:

$60 for 5" x 7"

$100 for 8" × 10"

I've been so honored by all of the pet portrait requests that I've received since I launched them last year! Your pets are the CUTEST, and it's meant the world to me to recreate them in watercolor. However, the time to complete them to give the best quality to you is more than I considered in my initial pricing. To accommodate for this, I increased my pricing to what is shown above effective June 1. Thank you for understanding and for your support!
