Whether it's to honor a place that was once called home or to celebrate a new one, a custom home or landscape painting is a meaningful way to do both. An image of a place can immediately take us back with one look, and the feelings, memories, nostalgia and appreciation for that place in time comes with it.  My watercolor portraits are meant to serve as a loving tribute in an artful and painterly way that is not meant to be perfect like a photograph.

I work from a photo that you provide to me as my painting reference. I use only artist grade materials. Portraits are painted on 140 lb. 100% cotton acid free watercolor paper. The finished piece will be unframed so that you (or your gift recipient) can choose a mat and frame that best suits your surroundings.  It's wrapped in a clear envelope with an art piece description card included for elegant presentation as a gift on its own. Artworks on paper should be matted to keep the painting from touching the glass, so the final overall piece will be larger than the painting size.
