Zinnia Glow

5"x7" Original watercolor painting on 140 lb. cotton watercolor paper by Betsy Gaccione. I planted zinnia and seeds this past spring, and it's hard to explain how much joy I've gotten every day this summer by what has grown - from observing the miracle of the colors and blooms themselves, to cutting and gifting them to others, to the inspiration to paint them. I got such a dopamine hit from seeing just this one single bloom on display on my desk, lit up by the sun like it was electrified, that I had to try and capture it in a painting. Art piece will come matted to fit a standard 8x10 photo frame.
